What truth of God’s Word it is — that both the gift and the giver share an equal role.
At LHWC we often say that it’s not about the “WHAT” you are giving that matters but the ”WHY”. It’s the passion of knowing that God alone opens each and every opportunity of plenty; for it’s all His anyway. God tells us to give and how much to give, however, if we give yet its not from the heart, in obedience to the Lord and to see His Kingdom grow, then we should not give at all. We should all give because of the Heavenly promise that encompasses the tithe and offering and as a church, we step out boldly in faith that each gift is directly from the hand of the Lord to begin with. It is our confidence that what we do is all about the One who has ordained our ministry.
